The Biodigester 35 is a fully self-contained aerobic digester made from marine-grade aluminum or stainless steel. It can either discharge to a sanitary sewer or repressurize water from its finish water tank for reuse. The Bio35 has a front deck for the pumps and re-pressurization system, making maintenance very simple. This unit is a larger version of the 25 and contains a finish water tank on board.

What’s the difference between sterilization and disinfection in wastewater treatment?
Sterilization and disinfection are both methods used to control microbial contamination in wastewater treatment. The key difference is that sterilization completely eliminates all forms of microbial life, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. Disinfection, on the other hand, reduces the number of harmful microorganisms to a level that is considered safe but does not necessarily eliminate all pathogens.
Is sterilization necessary for all wastewater treatment processes?
Sterilization is not necessary for all wastewater treatment processes, but it is essential in specific scenarios. For example, sterilization is critical when treating wastewater in industries where the water may contain highly resistant or harmful pathogens.
In addition, pseudomona putida has been shown to act as an aerobic denitrifier. Using this blend for your treatment can reduce the load on your denitrification plant, or eliminate it completely. Bacillus blends are available in 5 and 10 billion colony forming units per gram; or 1×109 CFU’s, and 1×1010 CFU’s. Blends with pseudomonas are available in 5 billion CFU’s only; or 1×109 CFU’s.
