Background
A large regional garbage company needed a wash system for their 100 truck fleet, not only to wash the trucks, but also the engines, hydraulics, all commercial garbage dumpsters, and cans. They wash 24 hours a day. They have no sewer access, so the water had to be fully reclaimed.
Solution
With a huge organics and oil and grease load, the system supplies unlimited wash hours with fresh-smelling water. All grease and oil are eliminated and the organic sludge load has been reduced by 90%.
Biodigesters are available in stainless steel and with ozone to sterilize the water.
System installations are compact, even with high contaminant loads.
Sludge is handled in a dewatering hopper that can be moved and dumped with a forklift.
