solids settling

solids settling

Many fine solids that cannot be screened can be settled in cone bottom tanks. Cone bottom tanks concentrate the settled solids into the bottom of the cone where they can be released manually, or with a timer on a regular schedule.

These settling tanks act as above ground separators bringing the solids out through the bottom with automatic pinch valves into dumping hoppers. Oil and grease pass through the top of the tanks and don’t co-mingle with the settled solids.

Pinch valves are timer controlled to keep pace with removing settled solids. To get more information on all of ClearBlu’s solids settling solutions, contact us or request a free consultation for your own system.
